about the campaign

A Launch Filled With Purpose

A shared goal for children like Syuzi

We are thrilled to launch our new website in honor of International Children’s Day. As we share the new website globally, we invite you to explore Aregak’s work and consider supporting this special campaign.
Together, we are working to raise $10,000 — enough to cover one full year of speech therapy services for dozens of children like Syuzi, whose cerebral palsy cannot dim her bright smile.
Ten of Aregak’s most dedicated supporters are each raising $1,000 toward this shared goal by mobilizing their own networks. If you are friends with one of the fundraisers, you can make your donation to Aregak in their honor and help us reach the full campaign goal.

How this website came to life

For a long time, UX designer and web developer Paul Hecker had hoped to use his skills pro bono to help an organization share its work with the world through a premium website.During his first trip to Armenia from Berlin, new friends encouraged him to visit Gyumri. There, he discovered Aregak in an unexpected and personal way — and felt that this was the organization he wanted to support with his expertise.That visit became the beginning of this redesigned website: a volunteer project created with care, dedication, and countless hours of work to help Aregak’s mission be seen, understood, and supported by more people around the world.
